The location is very near the Paizzo San Marko - very good location. There is a water taxi or gondola from the hotel direct for tours or back to the train station. The hotel itself is exceptional with a high standard of comfort and beautiful fit-out on the rooms. The staff are also very good - Rafael who brought our breakfast each morning was exceptionally nice and helpful with tips for seeing Venice. Our room has a balcony - very small - but an excellent place to see Venice in the early morning as the day got underway. The hotel is also close to the cheaper public transport just near the Piazza San Marko - we were able to wheel our bags from the hotel the ferry terminal no problems.

The breakfast was a real treat, Raphael was very nice and accommodating! We loved our junior suite! The view was exceptional looking onto the bridge of sighs and watching the gondolas go by it was beautiful

The hotel was in an excellent location. In the centre of good restaurants, cafs, shops and the port. We loved Raffele, who delivered breakfast every morning to our room. He was such a kind, happy man, and nothing was too much trouble for him. He went the extra mile to make sure our stay was exceptional.We were there to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, and Raffele bought Prosecco to our room on the day, which was a lovely surprise. We will definitely visit again.

The hotel is great located just a short walk from the Piazza Marco. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast is provided & delivered (as room service) from a restaurant nearby. The gentleman who brings the breakfast every morning is the friendliest and most kind and pleasant person in this hotel. He is extremely respectful and mannered... it was wonderful to start the day like this!

Location is amazing. Only a couple minutes walk to Piazza San Marco and plenty of great restaurants around the hotel. Hotel has a dock so you can take a water taxi straight from the airport and get dropped off at the hotel, perfect for travelling with kids (or a pregnant wife like me!) as you don't need to take a public water bus and then walk with suitcases. Breakfast was great and served in the room. Hotel is small though so that is the only option.

We booked this hotel for the location, as we wanted a canal view and to be close to St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco). It was fantastic for this, but be aware of the trade-off. It's in a bustling area, so it's not the quietest location at night. There are loud tolling bells from St. Mark's Basilica at midnight and 7 am; again, this didn't bother us, but you may want to know in advance. We ordered the in-room breakfast service the first morning, which was a nice experience, but the food wasn't good enough to order again after the second night. We liked that there was a small safe and fridge for use. If you order a water taxi, it can pull right up to the front of the hotel.

Loved the location of the hotel. The proximity to St Mark's square and various sights is great. The hotel room was awesome.. Loved the charm. Our room attendant was exceptional.

A very good and comfortable hotel in a prime location in this beautiful city. Large spacious rooms and bathrooms. The room service offered by the hotel was a good option for us. Arrival and departure is quite interesting, as the hotel has a small pier where motorboat taxis stop in front.
